I don’t have the book to hand so I cannot confirm how true the quote is - but I remember this section of the book and it sounds about right. I love this book so much, even thinking about it makes me go a bit teary, everybody should read it.

The Outsiders - S.E. Hinton, because you get dragged into the story, you cry when the characters are having a hard time and you really end up loving the characters.
